With the popularity of Nintendo Entertainment Console, it came time for the creation of yet additional transportablility in a game console. The suggestion for Nintendo Game Boy first started in the 1970s but was primarily  in 1989. The creators sought to make a game that was not only from top to bottom portable, but also light, pretty cheap, as well as long-lasting. The Game Boy was named to stand for its resemblance to its big brother, the NES, as it was the similar color, had the same configuration of buttons as on the NES controllers, and it used minute cartridges.
