Sega Arcade consoles
I have several home consoles, PS2, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo DS, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, and so on. I really love to play video games, that's my favorite hobby for sure. So many different types of games and stories, it's just a blast! You can lose a lot of time playing them, as I have for sure. There are better things to spend your time on obviously, but games are just really fun. I even have started playing PC games! So it's no secret that really no matter how I can play games I do, even on my phone now. But deep down there has always been a love for Sega from the Genesis days. Sega is now and always will be my favorite game company just because of my childhood memories and how much I still enjoy those games. Which leads into the fact that there is another way I really enjoy games; which are arcade consoles.
Arcade games are really fun to me, I've enjoyed several arcade games and consoles growing up and recently. Sega arcade consoles, though, have really taken my attention recently. Although Sega stopped producing home consoles after 2001 with the death of the Dreamcast, they never stopped making arcade boards. Recently I've played different Sega arcade machines at Movie Theaters and the such, and I've really had a good time doing that! Their arcades really can stand up to the current consoles and beat them in some ways, and that's exciting to me! It's nice as a big Sega fanboy to see that Sony and Microsoft can't quite keep up in some areas, even though I do love the other companies. I always have loved Sega games on the other consoles, but it's not quite the same as them being on Sega hardware, so to play their arcade consoles is quite enjoyable in more than one way.
